A comic novel set in Norley, Cheshire
The Badger of Proof
Iris has very poor eyesight and a new collie. The collie is a badger. It has opinions about her.
About the book
Iris lives on the lane from Norley down to Hatchmere. She has been widowed, she has been to a great many funerals, and she has recently taken in a stray dog. This is lovely, except that it isn't one.
A comic novel about death, and what might or might not come after it, told through the people left behind and one deeply unimpressed badger.
Where it is set. Norley and Hatchmere, Cheshire. The places are real, so you can go and stand in them. The people are made up, so please don't go looking for them.
